Crocheted crystal, a superb pattern of unusual grace and refinement
was first offered by Sears, Roebuck and Company in the fall of l943.
The catalog showed many accessory pieces in this lovely clear glass
pattern, as well as stemware and plates. The Imperial Glass Company
made Crocheted Crystal exclusively for Sears. It was offered through
the rest of the forties; only four items appeared us the Fall 1949
catalog and within a couple of years, it had disappeared.
Crocheted Crystal had its own label, an oval with open-work edge.
"Crocheted" is across the top, "Hand Made Crystal" is across the
bottom. "Harmony House" is across the center.
