1988 Convention - Denver, Colorado

Denver, Colorado, was the location for the fourteenth Annual NDGA Convention. The Convention was held at the John Q. Hammons Trade Center, just off Interstate 70 on July 7-10, 1988. Show Chairman was John Scott and the sponsoring club was the Pike's Peak Depression Glass Club of Colorado Springs.

A special treat was available at this year's Convention. On Thursday, July 7, there was a tour bus for "Early Birds" which took them to Central City, CO, and then on to Breckenridge for lunch. There was plenty of time for shopping and sightseeing before the bus returned to the Hotel via Loveland Pass. The mountain scenery was breathtaking.

The Annual Meeting was held on Friday night, July 8, and was followed by a "Get Acquainted Party". The Banquet was held at the Terrace Restaurant on Saturday night, July 9, followed by dancing in Flirt's Lounge.
